About FAR-West

We are a volunteer-run, community-based non-profit 501(c)3 corporation, and the western regional affliate of Folk Alliance International.

We connect, engage, and cultivate the folk, roots and acoustic music community of music makers, performers, professionals, and audiences in the North American West. We help to protect cultural traditions, nourish contemporary artistry, and provide resources to the community to advance the arts as an essential part of life.
