In an attempt to keep us connected as we continue to find our way through these often stressful times, some in our extended community have been sharing their experiences, lessons learned and hope as they’ve dealt with Covid, lockdown, boredom, lack of inspiration, etc. We are all looking for ways to make lemonade out of the many lemons! This column will continue on a weekly basis and postings will be released at 10 AM Pacific every Monday, so watch for them! For guidelines and submission details, please contact Julie Zipperer at juliez@far-west.org or Marlynn Block at marlynn@far-west.org. Submissions will be posted based on approval from the Lockdown Lemonade Committee.

2021 FAR-West Board Election Results
Congratulations to all of our candidates and we especially welcome our new members: Karen Sullivan and Arielle Silver! We thank all of the Folk Alliance members in the FAR-West Region for participating in this important process, and we look forward to working with you!

FAR-West Memorial Board: If you would like to commemorate a loss from the extended FAR-West community, please submit a name, a link to a legitimate obit (from a newspaper or Wikipedia) and / or a link to their website to Jeanette@far-west.org. Please make sure birth and death dates are included. We will list them alphabetically on our Memorial Board page. For an example, click here to see the names already listed.

Social Sharing Help Wanted!
FAR-West is looking for social (media) sharers! Thank you to those who have already stepped up but we would love to have more people helping out.
**(We are also looking for someone who is both FAR-West-knowledgeable and Instagram-savvy to help run that platform on our behalf)**
In order for FAR-West to reach its intended audiences, we need your help to aid in spreading the word of our ongoing year-round virtual programming.
If you think you could help out in this area, please contact Steve Dulson at tinkersown@ca.rr.com or Marlynn Block at marlynn@far-west.org with the social media platform(s) you would feel most comfortable sharing on/with.
