FAR-West is Now accepting donations for the 2026 raffle!  The money raised from the FAR-West Raffle helps to replenish the Roz & Howard Larman Memorial Scholarship Fund, assisting folkies who may not otherwise be able to attend our conference.
 

If you’re new to FAR-West and wondering what our raffle is, here we go: At the conference, we prominently display donated items. Everyone will make a bid on their favorite prizes. Also, the items will be listed in the program book, a true collectible & favorite for us Folk hoarders.

So if you have a business, service, or item that you want to get out in front of the music and storytelling community, our raffle is a great place for it!  We’ll draw prizes at Sunday Breakfast.
 

Here are some ideas from past raffles: a vintage guitar, microphones, other musical instruments, lessons, classes, retreats,  art work,  visual art services, studio time, coaching sessions, promotional/marketing packages,  photography, massage, bio-writing (we ALL want to win that one!), tickets to an event or house concert series ... or if you have a connection to a music store or organization that might be interested in donating, we'd love to hear about that, too. You are all creative and it's an ever-changing industry – we’re excited to see what you come up with!
